deleting users

Hi! I've read that Salesforce doesn't let an admin delete users. We only have ten lisences given to us, and when we were first trying out salesforce, we made a couple of folks users who don't actually use it ... such as a capital campaign advisor who just wanted to see how it worked. At the time we didn't know that we couldn't delete his account and give it to another person.

 

Is there some way to fix this, or another way to give his account to someone else?

Re: deleting users

The way to free up licenses is to mark a User as inactive. Uncheck the Active checkbox on that user account.
