Mass Email in NonProfit

Hi All,

I have just starting setting up SFDC for nonprofit that I am associated with. So far it all looks great and I am sure it will be great once I role it out.

However when I try to send a Mass Email I get the following message:

"NOTE: This page is for demonstration purposes only and cannot be used by trial organizations. If you wish to use this feature, your organization must subscribe as a paying customer of salesforce.com."

How do I get the mass email feature, we are a very cash strapped organisation and I probably couldn't getting funding for this but it is essential. 

Any help anyone can give will be very much appreciated.

You are in your trial period right now. Once your donation is approved by the Salesforce.com Foundation, you'll be able to send mass emails.

How long do SDFC usual take to make a decision? Is there anyway I can see their decision?

sorry must be a little dense! I can't see how I tell how long until I hear about my donation from the website.

Is there some way I can view this kind of information from within my instance.

If you go through the donation process as outlined on the site, your trial will turn into an Active org, and the little trial badge at the top will go away.
