Hi I am trying to run a report to get the total (sum) of the donations made on an individual basis in a fiscal year.
I can generate a report, however it lists all the reoccurring donations for any given donor but not the total for the donor. What am I doing / (not doing) that will not generate a sum of the donations per individual in a given year?
Thank You
Rick McKenney

I think you can get what you need by running a summary report and grouping by the donor and the year. In the fields to total section of the report builder, set it to total the Amount field.
Hope that's helpful,
Steve

Steve. I am able to generate a report, however whenever there is a reccurring donation each separate donation is listed. The report will give me the total for each person, however to make the data useful to me I will need to edit the Excel file to remove each recurring donation.
We what to generate a report (excel file) to do a mail merge so we can electronically send out our year end tax receipts to each donor.
My goal is to generate a report that has the following fields:
Name, snail mail address, email address, total donated (in a given calendar year).
Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
