Role Structure - Global Org

Our company may be acquiring some buisness partners, which we will include as part of SFDC. For example, the partner will now be ABC Company Asia ... part of our company, but a separate pipeline and sales force ... the partner portal is not going to work - need to be part of our instance ...
 
I'm looking to see what other people have done around a global role hierarchy in terms of visibility and structure. What does it look like ... can people share some examples ...
 
A high-level view (would be a VP of Sales, sales reps, channel mgrs., etc.):
 
  • ABC Company W. Europe
    • Direct Sale
    • Indirect Sales
  • ABC Company E. Europe
    • Direct Sales
